We certainly didn't gain anything other than fitness levels out of that game tbh.

It will be much more interesting against what seems to be a decent AEK side. They are sure to be full of confidence and will attack us from the off which usually works to our advantage. Just hope its dry so that we can get a proper assessment of our performance.

What did become apparent to me though is if we get injuries to key players we are fucked. Nobody at this stage youngster or otherwise has shown they have what it takes to step in and do a decent job. Signings are critical.

Much better second half. Conditions as already stated were almost unplayable.

Like the fact that Big Mo is getting forward. Great header -- great save by their Keeper. Naismith looking good.. and Lafferty? What a player! 'Gliding' by the opposition as the commentator said.

He was good. Needs to take a pop at goal more often though.

All in all -- satisfied. Given the conditions, not bad. AEK will be a good match. Hopefully on a decent pitch.

Lastly, a wonder no one was injured -- but Big Lee hobbled off... hopefully just cramp.

Brutal conditions to blame for poor game.

Disappointed with Walter though for not giving all the younger players a run out. This is pre season and the perfect opportunity to give them a chance so why not use to the full?

Surely you are not surprised?
