This banner was disgusting and disrespectful of the poppy appeal and all stands for when you consider the sacrifices made to ensure we have the freedoms we have today. Given that your paper was critical of Jon Snow of Channel 4 news in the past few days for not wearing a poppy and so on I thought this story may interest you. The following link is to a messageboard which has the banner in question and you can see for yourselves what kind of people they are. I am very angry about this having lost family members in the service of this country and I would hope you would highlight this to your readers.
