Seriously what do you expect form some septic supporters?

It's a big fuck you to something they fail to understand or care to understand.

They know it's insulting and will keep pulling stunts like this!

They are more than likely insulting the memories of their own dead relatives, who have fought and died in previous wars..

Ill educated scum. Zero punctuation. Too busy kiddy fiddling to learn the queen's English. Hope they all rot in hell. Two of my cousins are catholics and were in the army and are Celtic fans. One got shot in the leg in Ireland. They even hate their own. Fucking retards!

There's a tim in my school that couldn't care less if a Celtic fan that was in the army died

Well done for not mentioning Rangers.

Your right, it has nothing to do with Rangers FC.

Any mention of them will look like point scoring and making any valid points null and void. In my opinion.

(tu)

That's the way I looked into it, and I didn't want to drag our name into anything, as it would end up bringing us down with them, should anything actually be done about it.

In school? I'm shocked at that.

Usually they aint brainwashed at that age - they usually leave school and it's when the hippies and socialists in Uni get their paws into them.

Sent to the Sun:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in hope that your publication may shed light on the truly despicable banner on show at Celtic Park today against Aberdeen. This time of year is one for remembrance and reflection, not only in order for us to thank all the servicemen and women who fought to give us the freedoms we have today, but also to refelct on ourselves and what we are like as people. I certainly hope those in the Celtic support who helped present this banner today will do exactly that, as they are nothing but low life scum:

http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=4&fid=27&sty=2&act=1&mid=2119600489

As you can see, the banners not only disgrace the act of sporting a poppy in remembrance of tha fallen, but also harm the names of men and women who have served in conflicts in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. Many of my close friends have parents who are in the armed forces and my own father was a member of the British Army, serving in Northern Ireland. Not only does this disgusting display offend myself and the aforementioned group of people, but incites hatred, a subject which often causes wide debate at football matches.

In closing, I would like to express my deepest hope that you find the courage within in you to highlight this and all the awful connotation and effects it has on those who view it, if not for those who are or would be offended by it, but for those who fought and died for us in order to gift us the free and peaceful life we take for granted every day.

Yours Sincerely,

Calvin Campbell

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing in disgust about a banner displayed at Celtic park in Glasgow during Glasgow Celtics game against Aberdeen FC today. This banner was disgusting and disrespectful of the poppy appeal and all stands for when you consider the sacrifices made to ensure we have the freedoms we have today. Given that your paper was critical of Jon Snow of Channel 4 news in the past few days for not wearing a poppy and so on I thought this story may interest you. The following link is to a messageboard which has the banner in question and you can see for yourselves what kind of people they are. I am very angry about this having lost family members in the service of this country and I would hope you would highlight this to your readers.

I'd rather they didn't wear a poppy, our grandfathers would have been disgusted had they known they would be fighting for people like THEM.

They are a disgrace to humanity and should be gassed

FFS. First you want a kid, then you want any kids that we may have to die at birth, and now you're Adolf Hitler.
