MisterC 12,263 Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Well in the absence of any credible transfer talk and anything Rangers related in the news thought would start a thread about obscure players from the past who you may remember for one reason or another. I'll start off with Craig Flannigan who was with us in the early 90s. Remember reading about him in the Rangers news and I think also in a Rangers yearbook from 1989 where he was mentioned too as being a good prospect. He was good in the reserves and reserve league west teams but never made it into the first team though. He left us and formed a profitable scoring partnership with Ken Eadie at Clydebank before moving onto a few other clubs and then onto obscurity. He doesnt even have a wikipedia entry so goodness only where he ended up. Anyone know what happened to him and who are your obscure players of yesteryear?
