Use a bit of psychology against Salmond when he calls at Ibrox?

Order a huge selection of cream cakes, set them out in front of him and waffle on for about an hour. Then when he's gagging for cream cake and a cup of tea, wring some concessions out him like banning anything remotely Irish Republicanism :crabflute:

Socialists they are every where . The SNP are a bunch of natoinilist dreamers who think they are going to change the World with their debates on Sectarianism and taking advice from murdering scumbags who shouldnt even be allowed in to this Country because of their Past actions, and yet you stand to get 5 years in Jail for singing a song and hounded because of the flag you fly in your own country .

They are trying very hard and succeeding in taking over certain institutions within Local Councel and Governmental departments such as Holyrood the MOD and the Civil Service under the Banner of the Unite Union ,who would at the drop of a hat try and bring this country to its knees.

These people are the trouble makers in this Country and are succeeding in the News Mhedia and Education Departments all over .

They think because they have a Degree and can talk and people listen and hang on every word they say and these people bye in to what they hear .

It is not nonsence to suggest this that they wish to turn this country into a Totalitarian State with a Socialist Ideal.

Republican Socialist Left Wing Fascists sounds like the Nazi Party to me........

Follow Follow and Rule Britania ,God save the Union.......

Yes, so his quote is utter nonsense. (y)

I don't think it is fair to blame internet forums or their administrators per se for the odd misguided person. Just as it is unfair to blame/discipline Rangers for the conduct of small elements of their fans.

That is what is perverse here along with Salmond wanting to make political (and financial it seems) hay from approaching the issue in such a fashion. Same goes for McConnell when he attempted the same lip-service.

Apologies for the lateness in replying.

I have to disagree. I don't think you can check everything, or control all thoughts and neither should you. But there's virtually no moderation on this forum. About three posts above yours, someone opens their post with 'Fuck the Pope'. Still there, days later. Someone refers to Danny Wilson as a 'fenian cunt' today. And the Lennon emo...I can't say as I personally am offended but given what's been said on sectarianism and what's coming, you'd be deluded to imagine the forum would be invited in any way, shape, or form to be a part of 'the solution'.

I have no doubt Salmond is doing these things as a gesture, and might even (gasp!) hope to win some votes from it. His sincerity or otherwise isn't really the point, since the changes will come whether he believes in it or not. The point is what we are going to do about them.

Again, yes, so his quote was utter nonsense then?

Politician/authority sincerity is exactly the point as if they're not sincere and if they don't actually consult the people they're looking to affect, then any legislation debate is unfair, and well, insincere. That will only serve to increase tension as opposed to solving it.

Since the Scottish Government's 'sectarianism in football' work from 2007 onwards begun, I'd contend the issue has got worse within a football context not better. Why? Because their actions points then were not applied fairly, supporters were not involved and the issue was used to score cheap political points.

The same is happening again and all I see is finger pointing and grandstanding. Exactly the opposite of what Salmond says in the quote you highlighted.
