Turnberry18 3,204
According to Dunny he's off to Sunderland.
disgruntled_bear 157
He's probably been told we were interested, but. He would have to wait until we offloaded somebody before he could sign. So when another club became interested, he decided to move on.
delamonty 992
ffs Passing up The Rangers for Sunderland. Times we live in sadly. No ambition & money talks no doubt. What gets me is.. Why waste our time?
Amac9 2,060
If he was that good then why has no one snapped him up already?I'm glad he's not joining us.

Walks out on us to trial with Sunderland? Money grabbing bastard.... imho of course.
disgruntled_bear 157
If he was that good then why has no one snapped him up already?I'm glad he's not joining us.You could say that about every trialist currently at Murray park. Not everything is as black and white, injuries etc could have played it part. Some players just end up out in the wilderness for silly reason. Not footballing reasons.Personally like yourself I'm not too bothered, but. I think it was down to us not having the funds to snap him up right away, same goes for the other trialists we currently have on our books. We will have to offload to bring anybody in. blueben_d 40
Maybe he thinks he did enough in one day to earn a contract? Either way we should move on, this is not the way to treat Rangers.

Either way we should move on, this is not the way to treat Rangers. It isn't, but. On the other side I could see his point. No player is going to wait until we can get players off the wage bill to sign them.If somebody else can offer them a contract right away, he's going to look else where. Senna 735
ffs Passing up The Rangers for Sunderland. Times we live in sadly. No ambition & money talks no doubt. What gets me is.. Why waste our time? Reyna did it, as did Ally McCoist iirc.

CanadianBacon 2,088
Zlatan Muslimovic has cut short his trial spell with Rangers, training instead on Tuesday with English Premier League side Sunderland. The Bosnian striker arrived at Murray Park on Monday and was expected to spend the week with Ally McCoist’s squad.Muslimovic, who is without a club following his summer departure from PAOK Salonika, remains open to an offer from the SPL side. But his agent, Jan Bezemer, has confirmed his client will spend the remainder of the week in England.“Zlatan trained at Rangers yesterday,” he confirmed. “Everything was nice and we were interested.“But now another offer has come in to train at another club. Zlatan trained at Sunderland today and we will now see how that works out.“Zlatan had a very good feeling about Rangers. They are a very nice club, the trainer was a good man and he spoke very well.“Rangers want him but we have lots of interest in the player. He would like to play in a good league. The leagues in Scotland and England fall into that category.”The striker, who has 33 international caps, was one of a number of trialists under consideration by McCoist. Dutch midfielder Luigi Bruins also arrived on Monday, joining Honduran midfielder Jorge Claros and Estonian right back Enar Jaager.Muslimovic, who has Swedish citizenship, played youth football in Sweden before being picked up by Udinese. The forward spent seven years under contract with the Serie A club but failed to win a first team place.Udinese sent the player out to seven clubs and after short-term spells at Perugia, Pistoiese, Ascoli, Padova, Rimini, Messini and Parma, he left the club permanently to join Atalanta.A single season in Bergamo failed to bring success and Muslimovic moved to PAOK in 2008.http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/294880-zlatan-muslimovic-cuts-short-rangers-trial/I'm picturing Durrant going, "How, now, brown, cow. We should really charge a fee On this ocassion and with his goal scoring record, he's more than welcome to him.
