There are some absolute stinkers mate, don’t get me wrong, him, Carroll, AWB, 80 for Zaha etc but tbh they’re players that actually are leaving clubs that need them and are fighting relegation etc without them, obviously not Maguire, and they help fill the quota.

Less than a handful of teams in Spain throw big money about on players though. There's so much money in the English game now that it's becoming the norm for bang average players to move for upwards of £30m. A £90m asking price for Harry Maguire just about sums it up.

Can't believe United want to pay big fees for Longstaff and Maguire and City for the latter as well when Alderweireld is available for £25m.

Alderweireld probably wouldn't want to go to Man Utd and City are most likely pursuing Maguire because he's English.

Man City already have their quota of non English players hence them signing back Angelino after selling him last season and going after English players is their only option outwith selling someone from the first XI.

Firmino had 7 assists as well though.

True but i'll balance it out by saying Perez was playing in a woeful Newcastle side while Firmino was in the best Liverpool side since they last won the league .

Being honest though I don't think he is worth £30m but what a profit for Ashley.
