Paul Murray on feedback from very senior personnel within Ibrox,

Only time Whyte was seen to be panicking was when he heard HMRC was trying to appoint their own administrators!

If

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too:

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;

If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same:.

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings,

And never breathe a word about your loss:

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much:

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

Rudyard Kipling

so what we go with whytes guys?

I don't think so. we have d&p replaced tomorrow and we see if green is what he says he is or if he's just whytes end game.

I'm not convinced that such a change will do anything other than put is further towards having no money and going. We currently seem to have a credible way out, I don't see the other options.

And we owe money to Whyte why?

Because the security of the assets of Ibrox and MP are assigned to him and despite previous comments to the contrary, strictly speaking the conditions of purchase mean that we owe HIM the £18m he borrowed from ticketus to pay to Lloyds (tu)

HMRC appointed administrators are not going to be our saviours, crossing our fingers would be as good a plan as any.

they aren't supposed to be our saviours but they also aren't supposed to lie to us and work for the previous owner who deliberately drove us into administration.

No, they'll tell us the truth and work for the body who are claiming over £80m from us.

We are where we are, which is where none of us wanted to be. We seem to be faced with a trifurcation:

1. D&P/Green are successful with the CVA; or

2. D&P are at it, liquidate us, and that's been the plan all along; or

3. D&P are replaced, this takes time, the process stalls, we run out of money and go into liquidation

If that's the case, there's only one path which doesn't lead to liquidation. :disappointment:

I don't see that anyone without unlimited resources could have done anything other than end up with us in administration. We were in deep water long before we were offloaded to Whyte. Murray should have put us in administration himself.
