This is great news ...........but we should take a deep breath aqnd wait to find out what Green will take to move. I think he would go for a profit and did he know something was int he wind re his I am here only for a year and if could get out sooner he would...........sure he said this a couple of days ago.

Let's not forget he has laid out money and will be looking for that paid back with interest. So fingers crossed and breath baited :21:

the thing about Walter is trust! If he were to for example double the price of season tickets I would somehow find the money to pay it because I trust him 100%

I was never for choosing a bidder and only getting behind one and not another but from this second on TEAM WALTER

This is the best news I've ever had and I believed when dunny broke the story words cannot describe how happy I am and how proud I am of Sir Walter.

Having said that Green will own us I think then immediately sell to Walters group to save any possible legal action against him regarding the deal between himself and D&P.

Now I have the question of is this what King meant when he says Green wouldn't own us last week I wonder?

Think we'll find more money from the fans will be put in now that we have a figurehead we all trust. Know a few bears weren't keen on putting money in before because they never knew where it was going , including myself. But a smith led group has for more credibility than any other, and will get 100% backing I'd imagine.

totally agree with this, the one man to unify fans all over the world and if prices go up you know its for the benefit of rangers

It might be easier if Green continues to buy the club and then sell to Walter, otherwise if the floor is open for bids because Green steps out we could end up with mayhem.

This is my view also. If Green steps aside, the floor is open to other bidders. D&P would be legally obliged to do the best deal for creditors. As there is already a legally binding deal in place with Green, let him buy and sell straight on to Sir Walter, albeit at a profit.

Well, people are not going to be happy if Green still takes over after this.

All the same, Walter has stepped up, fantastic stuff from a fantastic man.

Green's got to take over to be able to sell it on..the administrators have a binding agreememnt with him.
