***The official Rangers vs. Queen of the South thread***

My main concern with Ally is that after missing out on Sandaza once, he persisted and went for him again. He looks fucking dreadful, and I mean properly dreadful

Agreed.

I think he's a player who plays well when his tail is up but is a liability when things don't go his way. He's been in the paper moaning about the physicality in SD3 today so I just think he doesn't want it enough.

A four year deal worth a million quid :anguish:

Being honest, Allys eye for a player is very suspect. Bocanegra may have been his best signing and even that was forced upon him out of the blue.

Lots I could say, most of which has already been said many times in this thread.

It's extremely disheartening, and worrying, watching us play like this. It surely isn't too much to ask for a side like Rangers to be competent in the footballing basics like organisation and tactics.

I hope none of the usual suspects have the front to come on throwing around the usual accusations of being 'Ally haters' just for voicing our concerns over yet another poor performance.

If things don't change at half-time there's only one team who look like they're going to win this.

I'll admit that I didn't see him much at St Johnstone because I cannot remember the last time I even watched a Scottish game noot involving Rangers.

However, I can only assume he wasn't as bad as this. It takes something to stand out as poor in this team performance

i'm sure we played Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) (SFL3 feeder club) last year with no recognized strikers - we actually won 2-0, but it was just another 'papering over the cracks' exercise. a good manager gets more out of his team than the individual players abilities would merit. currently, Ally is getting less out of the team. that is my worry.

I said before he was appointed I didn't want him to get the job because I didn't want to see him get grief if things didn't work out.

I just think the job has came too early for him, should have cut his teeth elsewhere first.

Still has my full backing but I can't see it working out long term.

Agree to a point - how was Boca pushed on him though?

Suppose for every Sandaza there is a Shiels and Black.

It's the decision making which worries. The whole weird Matt McKay thing from last year, the never giving Hutton even a spot on the bench. Concerning really

This is a gamble for any manager they will never get it right everytime. Especially considering the restraints Ally has had to deal with, using it as another stick to beat Ally is pathetic. He brought through McKay into first team, how do you rate him? Anyway back to the game
