They should.

Lets get a few things straight here...

We have the second highest wage bill in Scotland.

We have one of Britain's best training academies.

We have a fan base like no other around us with a fantastic stadium.

We have players who have won Scottish cups, League cups, played CL and Europa football.

We have international players in our squad.

So yes we should be walking the 3rd division and YES we should be able to string some passes together and not get thumped by these clubs.

You are right on every count but......

none of this matters if the players are not good enough, or not trying hard enough, and there is nothing that can be done to change it until we can sign players again.

We rushed a squad together and probably had to pay over the odds to get some of these "SPL players" to come play in division 3, we thought they would walk the league and they are just not trying hard enough. We need wholesale changes in the team, the back line is shocking.

Money can't buy heart for the fight, and it's abundantly lacking in our team.

This is a reality check for everyone that thinks that THESE players should be walking division 3 in every single game.

Disagree here gogzy.

People have been talking about how there is very little between the SPL & SD3 all season but this game is showing that there is a massive gulf in class between the full time rigours of the SPL & the part time product of the SD3 and we are being dragged down as struggling because of it.

Guys like Cribari, Black, Shiels, Sandaza, Wallace & Templeton were all players playing at a decent level and now they miles off the pace of playing against full time footballers now and that is partly because they are now used to playing among the mediocrity and lower standards of the third division.

This game shows us nothing about how we should be performing in the third division.

Templeton's been poor, but at least he's actually trying to make something happen.

He always wants that extra touch, most of the time leads to losing the ball

I've never seen Templeton play so shit.

Really feeling for him, trying his heart out, 3 or 4 tangerine jerseys around him every time(D. Utd got tactics right) apart from Wallace no support.

Hes not to blame, its the fucking midfield (Naismith only one in there, Black still running round like headless chicken )
