Also some of the reasons given in this thread for wanting one are absolutely pathetic.Speaking sense against such folk just gets you tagged as a handwringing apologist though what about as a money spinner ? An orange top would bring negative publicity, most fans would buy the top regardless of the colour so the extra sales would probably come from an element of our support the club has been trying to distance itself from. And a quick look through this thread will show you exactly why that would be the case. Filled with guys who want an orange top purely to stick 2 fingers up at the mhanks and their fans, which is exactly why the club wouldn't do it. Plain and simple.
