***The Official Rangers v Berwick Rangers Thread***

Wasn't pretty but we're through to the next round.

The defence was fairly solid and didn't really give them a sniff, also we closed them down well all over the park not giving them time to create anything. So a couple of positives in a fairly average game.

Templeton stealing his wages tonight he should have been subbed early on even the players around him stopped passing to him. McKay was a breath of fresh air, thought Black was excellent tonight.

Tom Miller is an absolute gent. Also a massive passionate bluenose.

Id listen to him all day long before burley and his ilk.

Fair dos, his commentary on the play was good but his jokes were lame doh

I'll take that 2-0 as well, bit disappointed with the performance but not to worry, job done

(tu) He goes a bit overboard at times but he knows his stuff and was brilliant on Rangerschat when he phoned up.

Wasn't pretty, but we got through which was the main thing. Defensively we looked solid, and I personally thought Black played well once again, a marked improvement from last season, from him. Bringing on McKay was a great move though by McCoist, as he was a breath of fresh air. Hopefully he can play a more prominent role this season.

He's maybe a gent but his commentary is awful, he does my nut in with all his pish and wee quizzes.

He's still needing match fitness, only way to get that is minutes on the pitch. Templeton will win us quite a few games this season.

job done. first half was quite poor but we certainly brightened up in the second half. good to see Barrie McKay back playing, wouldn't be against starting him on Saturday ahead of Shiels

He may do but he will have to work a lot harder than he did tonight he's not at fucking Hearts now.

Bazza played well when he came on he is still young and learning, thought we were pretty poor but thought the two in the middle did ok. Also for people saying temps was poor i think you have to remember he was coming back from lengthy injury, the talent will always be there as you saw from the goal that should have stood on friday, he was just understandably off the pace
