Was playing The Last Of Us last night and decided to look at what you can buy...£24.99 Naughty Dog are charging for hats for your online character. 25 fucking quid for some virtual fucking hats which equalled to 8mb. The middle 2 in particular! It's not about getting it above 60.. the game will be locked so it can't go beyond that. The benefit of having these settings is that allows the player to counter any potential performance issues i.e. frame drops... if you want a guaranteed silky smooth 60fps at all times you have the option of disabling the bells and whistles that may be causing frame drops. It also gives the player the ability to customize the visuals to suit themselves.. not everyone likes the effects that devs add to games - for one i despise depth of field and bloom with a passion... Whilst none of them are my favorite in the series i still really enjoyed BF3 and BF4. Haven't played the retail version of Hardline so can't really judge that one..
