I knew a foreman (septic fan) who worked on the Girodome upgrade; he said that even the foundations were constructed on the cheap, and not up to spec. All wee Fergus was interested in was that they achieved the completion date. Said he wouldn't set foot in there for safety reasons.

So be careful when you do the bouncy there guys!

without a word of a lie the foundations were laid by the same guys that put the foundations for the paths in Fereneze Golf Club in Barrhead.... Oh and guess what they washed away down the hill within 3 years. I believe they never put in the correct concrete mix in the girodome and there crumbling. Cheap Irish shite !

When the beggar dome was rebuilt the company I worked for at the time supplied some steel plates for their foundations.

Let's just say they bought the cheapest shite we could get our hands on, I'll be surprised if it hasn't rusted through by now.
