Rangers center back Bilel Mohsni has been included in the squad for Tunisia’s upcoming friendly in Seoul vs. South Korea. The match marks the debut for former Belgium manager Georges Leekens & would also be Mohsni’s first appearance for the Tunisian national team if he sees action in the match.

Mohsni’s addition was seen as a ‘surprise’ to those who cover Tunisia – but not as surprising as their declaration that Mohsni has earned the nickname “Mr. Invincible” during his first season in Scotland. Really?

The 26 year old Mohsni made 28 league appearances this past season, scoring ten goals. He was dominant at times in League One but also maddening lax in his approach to the game. He was booked nine times & was easily distracted by opposing supporters. Basically his reputation as a ‘hothead’ did not dissipate in his initial season with Rangers.

He will likely have a new center-half partner as Ally McCoist is actively seeking to add to the defence corp this summer.

Tunisia’s match vs. South Korea will be played on May 28th.
