Federer’s first round loss means Nadal will return to the top of the rankings despite not playing this week.

Federer will also skip the clay court season again to prepare for Wimbledon.

Looking at the ranking points, he could well return to world number one during the clay court season without playing a match as Rafa has plenty of points to defend.

I expect a close straight sets defeat, although, depends what nick turns up.

andy will be very rusty.

Just be good to see him competing again.

he’ll need at least to Australia to be close to his fitness IMO.

I think Murray would be nuts to play Wimbledon this year.....as an unseeded player he is going to be taking on the top players from the off...if it's game time he is looking for to gain fitness then fair enough but he won't want his confidence taking to many kickings either.

Murray’s seeded route to final is an absolute ball-ache

R1: Paire

R2: Shapovalov

R3: Del Potro

R4: Goffin

QF: Nadal

SF: Djokovic

F: Federer

I think Murray will have to be pretty chuffed with himself if he goes out to Del Potro in the third. That would be good progress for where he is.
