  1. 1. Is Ally the man for the job?

Recommended Posts

Everyone is wondering over who is going to replace Ally. That doesn't come into it in my opinion, it's Ally's lack of ability at the managerial level that is going to screw things up for us and almost anybody would do a better job than him. As DBBTB says above, there's bound to be more than a few experienced guys out there that could and would be glad to help the club while getting paid for it.

If we lose our first 3 games (which really is a possibility) then we can revisit this thread as hopefully things will change for the better sooner or later.

what happens if we hammer both hearts n hibs? With how inconsistent this team are that's possible.

Everyone has an opinion which is fair enough but to state on a forum that our manager is a buffoon is taking the piss.

Some of the remarks directed at him are outrageous and encourage the declans to repeat it in the rheble.

Aww diddums does the truth hurt. He is a clueless buffoon taking nearly half a million pounds of OUR money to serve up that crap week in week out.

Agree sack him now, but can we afford to pay him off?? Change of manager now, the stadium will sell out of season tickets

Thats an interesting point. Appoint the right person and it could very well bring a lot of the fans who haven't renewed because of the football on offer back for the new season ahead. Unfortunately I can't see him being sacked early even if we are knocked out of both cups early and aren't winning the first few league games. He will be given time because we know that the squad we have should still be good enough over the course of the season regardless of the manager.

We can't afford it mate imo. We need to sacked him and his staff n pay for a replacement team to be brought in.

Ally could do the good thing n walk but he won't walk out on his dream.

Who to replace him? Absolutely fucking anyone. The guy defines incompetent. Bring in any hungry young coach , foreign or british it really makes no matter, with a modern approach to tactics and preferably looks to play with a modern, fluent and attacking style. I'm not buying for one second we can't find someone like that. That's not asking for Mourinho or Simeone to come in. That's asking for someone, even if we need to give someone an opportunity, that ticks the boxes that we need ticked to bring this club into the 21st fucking century.

Give him the first two games eh the season. (Hibs in the cup & hearts in the league) if he loses them, he goes.

The board won't sack him that will be used as a stick to beat them with. Unless we start a war us v them(fans groups) to prove ally supporters are in the majority.

Well if that's the case then it proves the players are capable and they can perform when they want....in that case it's ally's job to get that consistency and if he can't do it he should be moved on....I have serious doubts we will "hammer" either mind you.

Can the Ally oot brigade not wait to see what happens on Tuesday and Sunday first?

So let's say he wins those two games, everyone's just gawny be like "Aw fair play Ally mate, you're the right manager". What about the rest of the season after that though? When the performances become sluggish again, and the older signings he's made can't run the length of themselves, what then? We just say "well he beat hibs n hearts eh so lets leave um to it"
