The Godfather 71,718
Well not really gaming but probably get better responses in here.I'm looking to get a new TV and have about £800 to spend on it, the best I can see so far is http://www.whathifi.com/samsung/ue48h6400/reviewAnyone got any other recommendations and do you think the one above is value for money?Cheers
TheBluenose1972 1,405
Depends what you want it for... Sony top of the ranger if your wanting best response times as it's in a league of it's own for gaming. http://www.amazon.co...words=kdl50w829http://www.hdtvtest....01403023650.htmThe Samsung though will be better for Blu-Rays/Sky HD
The Godfather 71,718
This ones not really for gaming mate just a general one for tv and films.I know for gaming it will be double the price. Not sure if best to wait nearer or after Christmas for price to come down further? smartypants 4,427
My brother bought a Samsung smart TV from John Lewis. Original price was about £800. He had spotted it elsewhere for £660 and emailed JL the link and they matched the price. The cheaper price was from some obscure internet goods shop I think though, much safer buying it from somewhere more well known. The Godfather 71,718
Yeah I'm always wary buying from little known sites or shops. Like to get one with a decent length guarantee too.The one in my OP has good ratings and won an award in 2014, but always wary of going for the first one I see and regret it later on

(5 years for TV's i think)Their customer service on the whole is on another level completely!
