WadeWilson 4,670
He also gets knocked fuck out of most games and never complains or dives and just gets up and on with it.You have a strong argument but you're doing your best to dismantle it with that nonsense. The fact that you are referring to Messi here is just mind-boggling. The fact that you use it in an argument against Maradona is insane. bluedylan
sassaaaa 11,406
Once their transfer ban is up, if they can buy a RB, CB & CM they'll be near enough unstoppable. If they play Masch/Pique at CBs away they will lose goals.......
RangersMedia 35,961
I'm honestly not sure anyone can stop that front three, especially with the form Messi is in. Chiellini with a headband can stop a train with his left boot. . WadeWilson

WadeWilson 4,670
I wonder what Messi would have thought had he been introduced to the Butcher of Bilbao... Or even Claudio Gentile perhaps?Thankfully for football, as a spectacle of skill, he will never have to meet someone like that.
Clemdog 39,389
If they play Masch/Pique at CBs away they will lose goals.......I agree with that, Mascherano is a great player but needs played at CM alongside Rakitic and a more creative midfielder. Pique really has turned around his career, but if you add in another quality CB and RB to replace Alves they'll be almost complete.

WadeWilson 4,670
I'm just going to put this out there - the man who really nearly did single-handedly win a world cup is Roberto Baggio and he was only a couple of thousand bawhairs away from doing so and would have deserved all the praise Maradona gets.I hate to tell you this Jamie... But I read an article the other day which had the Divine Ponytail as one of the top 10 most overrated of all time.I didn't read the whole article as I had just read most underrated of all time and Emile Heskey was in there. The big gay guy that plays for Real would have given up long ago.I still say Messi is the greatest I have seen and to put him above Maradona and Pele is going some. Madness. The man was a minor deity. And like his Brazilian counterpart from 1994, weirdly forgotten these days. Romario must be one of the most underrated great players ever nowadays. He was a fucking genius and a World Cup winner.

WadeWilson 4,670
I watched the German Sky TV post-match analysis and it took them until 2205 to show Messi's goal... Any of the goals actually. They showed the replay of the Neymar / Rafinha incident about eight times in slo-mo and shouted a lot for half an hour first. WadeWilson 4,670
Also, Boris Becker doing punditry on a football game (as if that wasn't odd enough) - he is wearing a suit with a pair of old Puma trainies. They must be his lucky ones from his playing days.
