He was decent a hard worker but cant control a game from midfield and couldn't force average players like black or law rather than him out wide.

We evidently needed the money instantly, hence the 500k loan from Easdale for a few days until the MacLeod money came in, so no. I assume the board would of accepted and drove through the first bid as quick as they could.

Ally should hang his head in absolute shame for how he has ruined us....these Newcastle lads may or may not be good players but imagine had he actually bled our own youngsters in the third division we wouldn't need to do this! Loan players being reported from various media sources and look a certainty for a few at least.

He was good but he wasn't worth more than what we got from Brentford. The offers were not there for a guy that had not proven himself on a consistent basis against anything other than part-timers.
