RFC RYAN 2,967
Kenny Black is at the Hibs Livi game tonight, watching Saturdays opponents before been appointed it would appear.
The Louden Tavern 1,765
Happy to give him the chance to the end of the season. Certainly done a good job with Motherwell under trying circumstances. GM

Band of Brothers 10,303
I have a good feeling about this and he may surprise alot of people and if he boots those imposters baws we may have a chance just maybe.
Gandalf the Blue 1,384
STV are saying Kenny Clipboard will NOT be part of the new coaching team. Thank christ.

BlueboyG 5,238
Delighted to be rid of the people who were in charge, however lets not get too excited, the job on hand is massive and i honestly dont see much changing on Saturday, these players have lost their fitness, desire and confidence, the desire can be restored quickly the other two cant, im pleased weve got McCall but if it doesnt happen for us this season my fear is he will be blamed. HG5 11,112
Good news!Another dud out of harm's way & (arguably) the best available option for the short term in!I hear he's keen to fulfil his Scotland commitment, so shouldn't cause any awkwardness in the summer (unless he takes us up in style & causes him to have second thoughts!!). AljayBoy 2,298
Positive announcement, just what we need to get us to the end of the season where we can evaluate what's required and take it from there.
LiverpoolBlue 1,395
the 1 second clip of Jim Whites face at the end of that hahaha (tu) "..You're born to be a Rangers supporter, you don't become one.."Brilliant - but true! showtime69

Bobby Hume 13,022
Good, at least it is a known manager at the top of Scottish football, and I wish him all the best, as he will need all the luck he can get with this bunch. He will do in the short term, but feel he may not be what we need for the future, but hope to be proved wrong. On the other hand if he were to turn this lot round and secure promotion for us he should be rewarded justly, and allowed to take us as far as he is capable of taking us before standing down and handing over to his successor. rangersross 6,530
I didn't even think McCall was a possibility as a temporary appointment. Far happier with this than I would've been with Magath, who I only really want to see in a directorial capacity.

foghorn leghorn 608
Fine by me and remember he did well at Well till they sold players over the past 3/4 seasons. Stick the boot intae these inept players Stew.

I don't think we should be handing out contracts longer than 2 years. Yeah, if he gets us up and things are looking better on the park, by all means give him a year. A 3 year extension for promotion is too much i think. Jonok

Dietspam 733
If he gets us up he deserves it.3 years though? And if it doesn't work, who is going to pick up the bill again? A year extension would be more appropriate. And not this rolling year shite either. IainB
PRW. 5,631
If he gets us up he deserves it.No he doesn't. Getting Rangers promoted from the championship with the second highest wage bill in the country does not make you deserve a 3 year deal. The fact he has been given a short term deal says that he isn't the man the board want long term, thankfully.I'll be seriously gutted if McCall stays longer than the end of the season, no matter how he does. Drunk and disorderly. 14,418
I'm happy that Stuart has answered the call. We need a man who knows Rangers inside out to see us through this season. He was in my top three prefered candidates. I hope it hasn't been left too late and that he can whip the squad into shape super fast.
