Pedantic but it's not in Pakistan despite successfully hosting a number of international events now, the Aussies and NZ have still refused to go there so we continue to spank their arses in the UAE. He's an unbelievable find for us and to think only a few years ago he was a welder in a factory. What a talent. Given his age though we just need to manage his workload, I'd prefer if we solely kept him as a test match bowler. A year ago Boycott was rinsing him on TMS saying who the hell is this guy coming to England bowling at 80mph...he soon changed his tune when he saw the guy bowl. Hits the top of off stump 70% of his bowling with perfect length. Has the ability to move the ball off the seam or swing it both ways. The last time we had someone like that was Mohammed Asif...let's hope Abbas doesn't go out in the same way ?
