Creampuff 22,628
Foakes impressing on debut to the surprise of absolutely no one. Ludicrous that he hasn’t been in the England team before now. TEFTONG

RangersMedia 35,961
That's an excellent recovery from England. Sri Lanka will be very disappointed they've allowed England to put up a good total!
kplfishtank 4,656
Few mates are over in Sri Lanka. Fancied it but decided I’d prefer SA next winter instead.

As it is, 350-ish would be excellent from where they were 5 down.

Creampuff 22,628
After being allowed to post far more runs than they ought to have, England peg Sri Lanka back with an early wicket from Jimmy Anderson. How many times has that happened?
Creampuff 22,628
it won’t be straightforward but England really need to get a lead from the first innings. Batting isn’t going to get easier, it you’d imagine Herath will be a nightmare to bat against Day 3/4.

If the Sri Lankan wickets keep falling at the rate they are England might not even need to bat again. Or if they do it's to put the game way out of Sri Lanka's reach... Pitch deterioration might not even be an issue..
RangersMedia 35,961
Sri Lanka 203 all out and England 38/0 in their 2nd innings. Scooshing this. Meanwhile we've got the Kiwis 36/2 after 8 overs in the first ODI. Shaheen Shah Afridi with both wickets. 6ft6" 18 year old left arm fast bowler capable of swinging it at 90mph. We just keep unearthing these absolute gems - the PSL has done wonders for young talent to showcase themselves and rub shoulders with international professionals TEFTONG
RangersMedia 35,961
Some controversy in our game. Ross Taylor motioning to the umpires that he thinks Hafeez is chucking the ball: Led to Sarfraz going tonto, speaking to both umpires about Taylor's behaviour and mouthing off at Taylor too. Bit poor from Taylor. If he has a problem with an opposing player he should have walked up to the umpire and relayed his concerns. It's not his job to officiate the game, it's for the umpires to decide. Sarfraz probably going to get cited for something, he is mouthing off and squaring up to Taylor pretty much every ball. Umpires have had to intervene. Sarfraz is a proper working class boy from Karachi he takes no shit from nobody even though Taylor is about twice his size

Deservedly so after that debut! Unfortunate for Bairstow but he just needs to bide his time, his reluctance to bat in the top 4 probably led to them picking Jos Buttler over him for this one
