Ashamed Of Some Of My So Called "fellow" Support

Go to all home games myself, in sept I voted yes and voted SNP today - really shouldn't matter though cause your political/religious views really shouldn't determine the team you support. And Bears shouldn't be turning on each other as a result of political or religious views either!

I smell shite from the record, how do they know how we will vote? Any Rangers fan who votes for that nationalist scum should take a good long hard look at themselves, yes you might get a few but they are a very small minority..

If you meet any of the boys in HM Armed Forces in the pub tonight be sure to let them know how you voted ;)

As an ex Army Rangers supporter who votes SNP I doubt that would bother me - oh and on the mighty FB there is a whole group of 'veterans for independence' with about 3.5k 'likes' - I am not alone

Comes as no surprise to me. I know plenty of staunch Bears that will be voting SNP.

Some people like to think of Rangers as a one dimensional club, but it isn't.

I wont go in to the how, but I am in contact with over 800 serving and Ex forces and not one of them would give the snp the light of day

so I guess we will agree to disagree on this one.

There's a clear contradiction between supporting Rangers and separatism, it's delusional to deny it.

Our history and traditions are still very much there

Depends how you regard the history and tradition. Also depends how you regard the club. What the club is to you won't be the same as what it is to other people.

For example, to some people it's primarily a family thing.

That's not to mention that voting SNP will mean different things to different people.

Personally, I have no problem with Bears voting whatever way they want.

And yet you support us? Do you know how much it would hurt our club and fans if we became independent? Then 5 years down the line we become a Republic ?

Is that what you want? I find that very hard to believe any Rangers fan would want this, It would be the beginning of the end for us as a religion and the tarriers would be running the show.

Me I was born Scottish and very proud to be Brittish, I grew up with a picture of Her majesty on the wall.

We would become the next N Ireland with us the terriorists in our own country.

But don't let me get in the way of who you vote for, that's your choice, but as a Rangers fan it's like one of our own stabbing us in the back.

Fuck the Snp they are Nationalist, racist scum that will never rule me.

Yet authorities ignoring some of the worst sexual abuse of kids in this shit hole.

I take it the 'shithole' you refer to is Westminster?

Lord Leon Brittan

Sir Peter Morrison

Cyril Smith MBE

Sir Rhodes Boyson

Lord Greville Janner

Sir Peter Hayman

Sir Nicholas Fairbairn

That reads like the Elm House guest list. Interestingly, most were only revealed as guilty by the CPS posthumously (just like Sir Jimmy Savile OBE KCSG)... And how unfortunate that poor Lord Janner is too old and frail to pay for his crimes.

How about Lord George Robertson and Baron Michael Forsyth, who were implicated in the Thomas Hamilton Dunblane shooting. Conveniently, the investigations findings, including letters from the three of them were sealed shut by a 100 years secrecy order. A D-Notice (or gagging order) was also issued to the press.

The following are politicians who have been convicted of child rape and / or child porn offences in the last 15 years.

Alec Dyer-Atkins (Labour)

Harvey Proctor (Tory)

Christopher Pilkington (Tory)

Peter Stidworthy (Tory)

Chris Morgan (Tory)

Nicholas Green (Labour)

David Spooner (Labour)

Martin Locklyn (Labour)

Mark Tann (Labour)

Roger Talboys (Tory)

Michael Powell (Tory)

George Harding (Labour)

Liam Temple (Labour)

Les Sheppard (Labour)

Nelson Bland (Labour)

Sam Chaudry (Labour)

Lee Benson (Labour)

Tudor Davies (Labour)

Peter Tuffley (Labour)

Alan Prescott (Labour)

Keith Rogers (Labour)

Gilbert Benn (Labour)

Ian McKellar (Tory)

You may also remember that Harriet Harman wanted to legalise child porn.

I could go on (and further back to the allegations that implicated Ted Heath and how Sir Cliff Richard spent holidays at Chequers with Tony Blair and the fact that Sir Jimmy Savile spent eleven consecutive Hogmanays with the Thatchers) but I think you will get the message from what is posted.

I love Rangers for simply being Rangers, fuck all to do with religion or politics.

I agree that it is inexplicable that any sane person would vote for the SNP but I disagree that it should be mandatory for Rangers fans to not vote for them. Similarly, absolutely no reason why Rangers fans should be considered deviant if they do not support the monarchy or loyalism. These issues have fuck all to do with football.

Some sense in amongst the fundamentalism. (tu)
