I'll need to write a letter to Rangers, asking them to renew the 2 Erskine Season Tickets which they so generously donated last Season.

I'm sure they will what with this being Erskine's Centenary Year, but just in case, I thought I'd put together a case for the defence.

Season 15/16. RM Erskine Fund - Ticket Office/Hospitality Spending:

Ibrox Match Tickets bought via Ticket Office for Various Veterans Groups:  249 tickets

Cost of tickets: £3366

Disabled Hospitality Seats bought for Wheelchair-Bound Erskine Veterans: 46 Seats

Cost of Disabled Hospitality: £2467.20

Season Tickets bought for Veterans: 6 Season Tickets

Cost of Season Tickets: £1440

Total Ticket/Hospitality Spend:  £7273.20

I hope they'll agree, that's not a bad return on their investment. (tu)

So I've updated the 2015/16 accounts.

To make the accounting easier, I've treated all recent spending as 2015/16 spending, but (almost) all recent income to be counted as 2016/2017 income.

So that gives us a total for 2015/16 of:

Latest figures showing:

  • All Spending from 1st April 2016
  • Sponsors' Fund Income from 2 members
  • £720 raised for Co. Armagh RSCs Rangers Former Players Benevelont Fund Fundraiser through medal sales (72 x £10)

Does not include:

  • All other income from the period - that will be detailed in, and credited to, the 2016/2017 Opening Balances

Balances 30 Apr 16

Total Funds raised to date: £39,197.53

Total Funds raised season 2015/16: £14,600.57

Current balances:

Erskine Fund: £808.95

Sponsors' Fund: £361.88

Total Current Balance - to be carried forward to 2016/2017 Accounts:  £1,170.83
