govanblue 16,847
So as you can see, the Erskine Fund is running out of money, mainly because I've been spending it all! We've still got the £388 for the St Mirren Hospitality to pay for, plus £900 that we've pledged for the Erskine Christmas Celebrations.Which leaves us with only £400, plus about £500 PayPal donations. So only £900 to last us until the End Of Season Fundraiser in March. What we really need is a big wad of cash to fall out of the sky. That would be nice.

I will be moving my ST in the summer anyway.Well if you had listened to your uncle GB, and not been in such a hurry... Let me know the next game(s) you're going to be at, and you can have my seat in Club Deck (Nostalgia Loyal!) because I'll probably be in the West Enclosure for the next few games. govanblue 16,847
A bit of a cockup with the jackets. They're labelled large, but it turns out they're not as large as I expected. Big enough for most of the residents - but a bit snug for Dinger and a couple of other well-fed Erskine Bears. So we need a few extra-large ones as well. So I've ordered another 4. Cost: £89.96That now leaves us with a couple of jackets left over. So they're on sale now to you, the Loyal Fund Members at only £20 each - that's £5 less than they cost us!They're size large (Chest: 39.5" - 41.5"), so would fit someone up to about about 5' 10" as long as you're not too chubby. Ideal Xmas Gift for a Teenager or Grandad.Postage costs a fiver - so ideally I'd rather meet at Ibrox (where you can also check if it fits before buying it.) govanblue 16,847
Speaking of cockups (I was, earlier)I almost messed up with the St Mirren tickets, and forgot to buy 4 for Erskine Glasgow.Luckily, there were still suitable seats available, so I've bought another 4.Cost: £45So the full details for the St Mirren game are as follows:Erskine Park - we've enabled the 2 RM Smartcards, and the 2 RFC Smartcards. We've also purchased 4 paper tickets for a couple of couples from the Cottages.Total - 8 tickets.Erskine Bishopton - we've enabled the 4 RST Smartcards, and we've purchased an additional 4 paper ticketsTotal - 8 tickets.Erskine Glasgow - We've purchased 4 paper ticketsTotal - 4 tickets.Hospitality - 6 Symon Suite Hospitality tickets for 2 Wheelchair Users and Carers from Erskine Bishopton, and 1 Wheelchair User and Carer from Erskine Glasgow.Combat Stress - We've enabled their 4 RM Smartcards, and purchased an additional 6 paper tickets.Total - 10 tickets. So that's a total of 36 Veterans and Carers who wouldn't have been at this game, if it hadn't been for your donations. Plus a few Old Soldiers who will also be at the game thanks to seats donated by Fund Members. Oh and at the St Mirren game, We'll also be supplying the Residents with a total of 12 of those nice jackets that we've bought. 72barca, Inigo, Bears r us and 1 other
govanblue 16,847
All of which means, we still need more cash if we want to maintain even a reduced level of support. So I'll probably need to send out another reminder PM to the 100 or more Fund Members who haven't yet donated to the November Fundraiser. But as I mentioned, I hate asking people to donate again when there are so many members who haven't yet donated for the first time. So maybe you guys should start putting the squeeze on that boardroom crew and find out exactly why so many of The People choose not to contribute. I wouldn't bother with the OT crew though - they're more trouble than they're worth. Remember you can get an up-to-date list of who has donated to the Fund this season right here...http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=285130&page=1#entry1062779188
