cstamomusa 3,809
BOSTON (CBS) — Matt Patricia is now officially an NFL head coach. The Detroit Lions officially announced their hiring of Patricia on Monday, the day after the New England Patriots fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII. This is Patricia’s first head coaching gig in the NFL. He’s been with the Patriots since 2004, serving as their defensive coordinator since 2012. Wow BOSTON (CBS) – Josh McDaniels has decided to not accept the head coaching job with the Indianapolis Colts and will stay with the New England Patriots. McDaniels had multiple interviews with the Colts, and while it’s been speculated for a while that he would take the head coaching job, it was only made official earlier Tuesday. Think it’s more likely to the second option because he’s probably now just lost the option to go anywhere else in the near future. Do feel sorry for the coaches that have already signed with the Colts. Situation seemed very similar to McInnes and us earlier in the season except we never announced anything... delparlane 5,639
Welcome to the Rams, Mr. Suh. Never been a big fan of his due to to his personality, but there's no denying he is a wrecking machine on the field. Really hated to see Robert Quinn and Alec Ogletree let go due to the salary cap, but our D line will be a joy to watch next season with Suh and Donald feasting on everything through the middle and Brockers devouring the leftovers. BlearyEyedBear 4,148
Baker Mayfield has been selected as the new Cleveland Browns' QB with the #1 pick of the draft. Browns also picked Denzel Ward CB with their second and #4 overall pick.
big blue Fin 3,724
Don't know if a y of you have paid attention to the draft in the NFL, I'm guessing not or this might have been mentioned. The Seattle Seahawks have drafted a Linebacker with one hand. Shaquem Griffin whose twin brother Shaquill Griffin is already a Seahawks player has been drafted after turning up at the combine to show off his skills. He has been playing in the AAC with UCF in Florida and in 2016 was named the AAC defensive player of the year. I'm impressed by the Seahawks decision to take a risk like this and I have a horrible feeling it may pay dividends for them both on and off the field. TEFTONG 60,070
Enjoying a fascinating 30 for 30 documentary that I recorded off BT last night.. "The year of the scab" all about the players strike in 1987. Amazing that after one game the supporters of the Washington Redskins started to chant "stay on strike" as the rag tag team of scabs had put in such a brilliant performance to win. TEFTONG 60,070
Don't know if anybody caught the 30 for 30 documentary on BT Sport last night. Just finished it. It was about a big lad called Marcus Dupree "The Best That Never Was". I would recommend it.
