He should have been rag dolling them after the Livingston game, instead it looks like he's just told them "unlucky boys, same again". 

We're reallymissing Ball and missing him for the Hibs game is a massive downer.

I think that some are playing expectant of a cup final place and that is down to the management not giving some of the younger guys a chance to come into the team & freshen things up a bit and keep some on their toes that feel they are un-touchable . just my opinion.

This won't do will it?   In fact its not been anywhere near good enough for many recent league games.   Seems the players have settled for having won the league, won the Petrofac and beaten Celtic and have dropped so many gears for league games they have practically gone into full reverse speed.  

Ah well, its end of season stuff.  MW will know those players he wants to keep and those who will be let go.  Any who are on the pitch today who are in the 'don't know if staying or going' list have probably now had their names into the 'going' list.   On recent league performances it could be quite a team rebuild job to be done over summer.

Maybe more worryingly MW does not seem to be able to shake the team out of its lethargy.  League game after league game we are told the players are in good shape physically, they train well, they prepare well and so on. You know the mantra and the soundbites by now.    But when Plan A does not work - as is being shown to be the case in many recent league games - then saying the only alternative is to do Plan A better is kind of useless if the players then do not respond by doing Plan A better.   And they are stubbornly refusing to do Plan A better. 

If better players are not brought on board in summer, and if the attitude of those who are considered good enough to stay does not improve. then next season could be difficult.   Better teams than St Mirren would snatch a goal on the break or capitalise on reckless, careless, lazy defensive /midfield mistakes and we could chase games all day long and not overturn it because right now we have lost the ability to carve out plentiful scoring opportunities.  

Its been a long season right enough.  And its showing now.  Who is really going to believe the Manager and the players if they say they will be ready for the cup final when their assertions that they are learning and preparing well are patently not realised in the league performances we are seeing.   I wonder if MW is capable of giving the sort of rollicking that these players absolutely deserve.  And whether DK will be taking MW aside to emphasise to him that this sort of league performance next season would simply not be good enough.

The team desperately needs freshening up. Too many players know their place in he final is guaranteed and are not trying as hard.  Maybe a couple of young players should've been introduced to add competition.
