I wonder how hard would it be to get some volunteers for the cup final to go about the stadium and get donations from folk going to the game? I reckon this is a great idea!! Popular Post govanblue 16,847
Donation made. Good luck with your efforts Mark. It's a tough challenge you've set yourself, but google tells me you're used to meeting tough challenges. I'm guessing (via google) that the hospital in America might be in Seattle? If that's the case, it's just 150km from Vancouver, home to many good Bears. Might be worth getting in touch with them - someone there might be able to help you out with some advice/solutions on cheap temporary accommodation, transport and things like that... http://www.narsa.ca/clubdirectory.shtml scottyscott1963, mark adair, julescotia and 3 others
Popular Post govanblue 16,847
I see that over a dozen of our current RM Fund Members have also donated. So in my capacity as Coordinator of the RangersMedia Sponsors' Fund, I've checked the various relevant clauses (and small-print) of our fundraising charter, and can confirm that Joshua does indeed qualify for a RangersMedia Rangers Youth Development Award. (okay, so I've just invented that - so what? ) £100 donation made on behalf of all the members of the RangersMedia Fund. Bad news - I've just been advised by our legal team that Joshua was not in fact eligible for a RangersMedia Rangers Youth Development Award, because he was not a fully paid up member of the new Official Rangers Youth Members Club (which has only launched today!)... http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/rydc-launch-youth-club/ A shocking oversight on our part! He's now a fully paid up Member. Problem solved. [EDIT: and so is his big brother. ] PM me a delivery name/address, and email address, and his member's pack will be on its way. (to send me a PM, hover over my photo, and you'll see a popup box with "Message" at the bottom) "Exclusive Youth Members Club benefits, for just £25 a year, include: Youth Player/Coach ‘Meet and Greet’ sessions Access to selected Youth Training sessions Competitions to win season tickets, tours of Ibrox and Auchenhowie Monthly Members Newsletter Limited edition badge Club Membership card Personalised certificate Discount on Stadium Bricks" (But ignore that last one - if you want a brick, nobody beats our discounts!) ianb1547, LeeWallace5, gogzy and 9 others
