Popular Post govanblue 16,847
Delighted to see a donation from Mr Tunnock, he of tea cake, log and wafer fame. Delighted, because it helps Wee Josh, but even more delighted cos it means we can all now indulge in our favourite Tunnock's Treats with a more-than clear conscience. Mr Tunnock also regularly donates goodies to Erskine Veterans too of course - they love nothing better than a Tunnock's Tea Cake. geneva_ger, Bobby Hume, Zetland and 5 others

Popular Post mark adair 976
hi guys all going well. Got Joshua's consultant to push sheffield hospital as well now but still not heard anything back as yet. Hopefully get an answer this week. Someone told me that if they can do the operation in this country and refuse to do it then the NHS have to pay if you got out side the country for the same operation not to sure if there is any truth to this so going to have a look in to it today. Looking forward to GB's raffle looking good mate. Drop us a pm if anyone knows anything about this thing with the NHS please. Thank you everyone once again for all your support ?⚪️? Popular Post govanblue 16,847
Many thanks to Co. Armagh RSCs once again. When they heard that we were collecting on behalf of Wee Josh, they gave us a discount on the 21 medals I was collecting - on condition that we passed this saving on to Wee Josh. So once I've resold all those medals, that will be an extra 15 x £3 and 6 x £2 = £51 mark adair, scottyscott1963, Zetland and 3 others
Popular Post govanblue 16,847
Many thanks to @Bobby Hume and @scottyscott1963 who have split the cost of a Set of 4 Medals to donate to the Raffle Prize List So, I finally managed to cut them down to a lutually agreeable £33 each, £66 total. So that's £42 straight to the Rangers Former Players Benevolent Fund for the 4 medals and £9 in Wee Josh Discounts (see above post) on the 4 medals and the remaining £15 also to Wee Josh's page. £24 Now donated to Wee Josh's page from @Bobby Hume and @scottyscott1963. dougie76, Bears r us, Zetland and 3 others

Popular Post William McBeath 2,154
Good to hear things are going well Mark and that your boy is good. Just wanted to ask if anyone has approached the club or fan groups because if anything they have a greater ability to reach out to many. The RFF is going to spend lots on a wee stand at the academy which will simply make things more comfortable for the players families and coaches. Its the sort of thing that can wait in comparison to your son. The club could have one of those tick boxes like they do for charity when you buy a ticket except it would be for Joshua's surgery. I know the club probably don't like to get to involved with these things as so many need a help but your son has a unique case. How unfortunate is it these days to have a serious condition that the NHS don't cover. This is one of the most advanced country's in the world so its sad to find there are things this serious were you still need to be rich to get treatment. Sort of thing that makes your blood get warm when you think we let people become billionaires for selling tracksuits yet our NHS can't afford to save our children. Great effort by all the boys on here though. Govan Bear and his helpers are also putting the big charity foundations to shame with their efforts on a much smaller medium. Keep it up lads, you make me feel proud and humble Bears r us, Bobby Hume, dougie76 and 2 others
