NeoGeo7 10,503
Now that our squad for 2016/17 is taking shape I thought it's important to remember where we came from to understand the magnitude of the work the manager, sir David of weir, frank mcparland and his team and the board have done......all made possible by the continued best support in the world. so here we go... 2010/11 2011/12 2012/13 2013/14 2014/15 2015/16 2016/17 (projected squad) Foderingham gilks (potential) kelly Tavernier wallace kiernan wilson hill mariappa (potential) rossiter barton thompson halliday kranjcar holt crooks windass o'halloran mckay forrester waghorn miller hardie walsh burt full back cover/competition (tbc) forward/striker (tbc) really strikes you you just how small the squad was last year and you can see what Warburton is doing this year. When I look back at the team before the financial issues compared to next season it really does make me feel like we are getting back to where we were and then some. Kranjcar and Barton are up there with the signings of Davis and Mendes in my eyes so it's pleasing to see. Look forward to the finishing touches being applied to the squad for next year. Sonnybear1972 8,130
I think expectation and excitement for the season ahead is at its highest for a few years to get the gers back where we belong ????
BridgeIsBlue 66,606
I'd love to forget the fact that the likes of Ian Black played for us.

Sorry mate, the idea was to get a positive vibe from the way the squad has transformed over a couple of years. law, shiels, Clark, templeton, bell out....Kranjcar, Barton, rossiter, windass, crooks and hill in. Not bad at all

I've already forgotten the 2012-2015. Just drink loads of alcohol and you can do the same.
John Greig's Sideburns 177
You can't help feeling sad looking at Sir Walter's squads but hopefully (Sir) Mark can take us back to where we should be
WGOH 2,344
Surely Steven Whittaker didn't score more goals than Jig?

But still seems strange that he scored more goals than big Lee pre 2012.
