Chris is jealous because Barton wrote a book, how does Chris know what the boss wants to be called, maybe the boss is quite happy to be called Warbs.

Im not standing up for Barton, I don't know what the score is, he's on the radio this afternoon, maybe get some detail then.

If he has done everything he's been accused of then he has to go.

 footballer and philosophy student?  so if you quote random quotes from people about life you are a philosophy student? Heres one then “Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something.”

Exactly what i was thinking, agree with most of wat he has written there but hearing Boyd call him that it really makes me cringe.

Yeah strange hearing a Rangers fan call one of those beasty cunts by his nickname.

Maybe unrealistic but I prefer Rangers fans who are players to hate every fucking one of them as much as I do.

Every time I see new posts in this thread I check it to see if the penny has dropped yet.

It's never going to, is it?

she needs to tap her ruby slippers together 3 times and say "it will mean what I want, it will mean what I want, it will mean what I want".

When she opens her eyes, The tim lawyer will have made a dig at Halliday.

....Or she may be home in kansas.

Calls him broony annaw, fuckin gut wrenching, I despair I really do !:sherlock:

Well, you just despair away then, because while you were in here pullin' yer puddin' and posting pics of Chris McLaughlin and Prince Philip, Boydy was scoring 138 goals for Rangers on the way to becoming the SPL's highest scorer of all time.

But, hey, don't let fitba' facts get in the way of your perennial rants.

Rangers legend Ian Black has backed Joey Barton to bounce back from the controversies surrounding him and make an impact in Scotland.

Black was at the centre of a gambling scandal in September 2013, when he was suspended and fined for breaching Scottish FA rules on football betting.

On Tuesday it emerged that Barton is under investigation for the same offence, only a day after he was handed a three-week suspension by the Ibrox club for a training ground spat with teammate Andy Halliday and manager Mark Warburton.

The Gers midfielder has been no stranger to the headlines during his chequered playing career, but Black has denied the suggestion his spell in Scottish football could be over already.

“Listen, he has been in worse situations and come through them stronger," the current Shrewsbury player told the Daily Record.

"I know for a fact that Joey will be fine. It’s just another ruffle of his feathers and nothing he can’t handle. He can handle anything. That’s just Joey for you. You can throw anything at him and he’ll take it with both hands.

“I can’t comment on the gambling but as a footballer you need to be strong internally to deal with whatever comes your way. Joey knows he’s capable of playing at any level, he came up to Scotland to play and I’m sure he’ll prove people wrong. He has done it in the past and I’m sure he will do again.”
