Siam69 26,758
Northern Ireland's first home game of the new campaign, and first since the Stadium has been completed. Some special pre match entertainment and people on show. Have a great night lads that are going, and a 3-0 win will do. Watching Norway get beat by Azerbijan at present. plumbGER 24,518
Should be a cracking wee carnival atmosphere. I will be watching on tv. Good luck lads.
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
I'm just getting ready to leave for this now. I'm eager to hear the noise we can generate in the finished stadium, if we can replicate the noise we made in France it'll be fantastic! Hopefully San Marino freeze and we get a goal fest. Who was the 'surprise' guest, mate. I'm guessing Billy Bingham? 2 hours ago, wully said: Big Jim McDonald will be loving it. Siam69 26,758
4-0 and Germany done the Czechs 3-0, Norway beat earlier, all good results for us. Similar score for us against the Germans on Tuesday, wee buns!!
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
Finished 4-0, but should have been many more. We didn't look clinical until Washington and Lafferty came on. Magennis tries his best but he's not very good. I'm not sure who the special guest was tbh no-one that did the lap surprised me by being there. Think Lafferty will start or at least get a full half on Tuesday. Maybe I picked it up wrong, was just thinking a 'special guest' from what it said on the bottom here, about who they would be walking around with, to be revealed on the night? To be honest, I've never seen him have a bad game for either our wee Country or Rangers. I know he has played that much for either, but what he has, he's been decent IMO. He has had a few bad games for NI when he was younger, but he does seem to have come on leaps and bounds. Would love him to be a regular starter for both Rangers and NI. I'd love to see Tav pushed forward in to the front 3 and Hodson playing at right back.
cr3_bear 14,739
Northern Ireland have been no bad and again can leave with their heads held high , you can see the last two years have instilled a bit of belief and purpose into this squad. How do the northern Irish fans feel about their chances of qualifying again this time around ?
