Thomsons solicitor Patrick McGuire speaks to BBC Radio

Pat McGuire aint taking prisoners on that interview from some scabby fenian supporter asking questions which coulda been drawn up by the glesga jap.
He accused the cunts of "peddling lies".
She asked him in a hearless way,"are you not just trying to link the 2 clubs for a financial outcome".
Glad I gave up listening to this scabby station years ago,as it is riddled from top to bottom with fenians.

Don't see how they can get away with it as it's well documented what happened in the US.

Good.

Lawyer's will tear them apart and get millions in compensation for the victims.

When they do then and only then will the Scottish government and SFA act. Just to cover thier own arses.

According to FF there is to be more in tomorrows papers

“celtic peddling the myth” that the boys club was a separate entity and issuing statements they’ve evidently “been told to issue by their lawyers”

Tomorrow could be very interesting..

Let's just say it isn't just the Scottish Sun that will be printing about them over the next few weeks. Today's news about the American angle was just the beginning. This isn't going away you know.

It's how their backers and sponsors react that should be interesting

I don't think any right minded company would want to be associated with a club who covered up child abuse then tried to rewrite history to cover their tracks?

their club and  brand will become internationally toxic and ruination awaits them

Fully agree mate. Once this separate entity crap is ripped apart in a court room.

The sponsors and backers will start to pull out and then it's the beginning of the end. No company will want anything to do with them.

They deserve every single thing that's coming too them. They put thier image above child safety. And the current board continue with the lie. Making them just as guilty.

Considering the spiders web of companies they have, can they move the "war chest" cash up the line and put the football club into administration when the shit finally hits the fan.

Take the points hit and come back next season with the war chest returned and the abused left chasing moonbeam.

There is no war chest and if there is money stock piled they've hidden it from auditors, which is financial fraud.

They are gonna have to pay everyone off.

It will cost them millions, but they will ensure that any pay-off will come with a condition that they are not admitting guilt.

They are scum bags through and through, but this wont end them. It will cost them some money, but it will all be swept under the carpet.

they ain't goingto need multiple millions for compo claims .for example if 200 victims got 20k each that's on 4m

what's likely to hurt most is sponsors pulling out

If action is started in the USA  regarding Cairneys abuse in NJ in 1991 then it will run into millions

The filthy bastards deserve everything coming their way

There’s no chance people will be settling for that kind of amount after everything they’ve been through.

American lawyers sue for astronomical amounts of money for starters.

Aswell as the compensation payments, a full enquiry should be underway, the members of the celtic board ie Kevin Kelly and his cronies should be prosecuted for their knowledge and cover up over the years, they are every bit as guilty as the convicted peadophiles if they have indeed been involved in a cover up.

there's only a small minority of the cases can be sued over there.

plus you would be shocked how low can be for this kind of thing. I know a woman who was raped as a 4yr old ended up with less than 5k .
