Popular Post RFCRobertson 11,775
Hamilton Academical vs Rangers fc Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership League Game Venue: New Douglas Park/Superseal Stadium Kick off: 19:45(7:45pm) Could be on live TV, streams will be provided. Hamilton Accies - 8th in the table with 16 points (1 game in hand) Last 5 games all resulted in a draw, overall Accies have W2/10D/4L Rangers - 2nd in the table with 32 points Last 5 games (Most recent first) WWLWW So going back to our first opponents this season, we faced Accies at Ibrox on flag day as our first top flight match in 4 years. The game would end up resulting in a draw with Martyn Waghorn being the only goal scorer. This time things will be different, we have to go to their stadium and grab 3 points to further secure our spot for second place. and outside of that, next season it's away games like this that will win us the league. The league for all intents and purposes (unless something drastic happens) isn't up for grabs, Celtic admittedly are in a strong place right now, 8 points a head with 3 games in hand. Meaning a possible 17 points ahead of us. and unless something drastic happens that isn't changing. So right now we must focus on securing 2nd place. Aberdeen are 3rd in the table with 28 points and 1 game in hand meaning they're on par with us taking their goal difference into consideration. So winning this game in a convincing manner and getting a clean sheet is important. Hearts are a point behind Aberdeen with no games in hand so they aren't as big a worry but that doesn't mean they can't be written off. All it takes is one bad game for the table to get shaken up. Which is why beating teams lower in the table is important, this season it's important to maintain our 2nd place spot so we can get europe and more importantly money. But next season, as I said above. Small battles like these win you the war. ** Just realised Accies are playing the tims tonight at torbett towers. After a quick glance at their forums, their none to optimistic about this fixture. They'll fancy their chances more with us but it'll be the same. Of course though, all the best to Accies. Unlikely as fuck but who knows, maybe they can steal a draw Team News: Clint Hill and Harry Forrester confirmed to be eligible Josh Windass and Jordan Rossiter still not 100% Niko Kranjcar out for the season Suspected line up Wes in goals Hodson, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace Tavernier, Halliday, Holt McKay, Garner, Miller Forrester on for Tavernier Waghorn on for Miller Dodoo on for McKay Team facts Out of 9 league home games, Accies have won 2 games, drew 4 times and lost 3 times. Out of 7 league away games, Rangers have won 3 games, drew 2 times and lost 2 times. Buggleskelly 3,772
I'll be at Hamilton on Friday night hoping to see our away form improve , which it should after the confidence gained from our excellent wins over Aberdeen & Hearts. Hopefully we don't lose the first goal as we seem to struggle when we're chasing a game. Predicting 2-0 Rangers ??

Bigsasasfloppyhair 13,310
Biggest headache is who plays in central defence. Would have said Hill and Kiernan but after yesterday Wilson would be hard to drop. Hopefully see windass, rossiter and forrester back into the squad too. Agreeing with starting waghorn, think would be a huge boost to his confidence.

MaestroNiko 53
SCORE: Hamilton 0-2 Rangers Mckay Garner Waghorn Holt Halliday Tavernier Wallace Wilson Kiernan Hodson Foderingham I don't know the difference in quality between Aberdeen and Hearts but i know they are both pretty shite But Wilson kept a clean sheet while Hill had a good game but got sent off which could have lost us the game even though it didn't, so I would start Wilson and wouldn't take the risk of Hill even though he played well. kdybear55 72
Break off work til next year on this day and heading through to the game! Hopefully hill in for Wilson and the rest of the teams the same I know tav didn't play very well but it gives us another option in midfield! Millers got a knack of scoring just using his experience

Clint, Forrester and MOH also on the bench for options. 3-0 at least; need to get the goal difference up as well as the points - we are well behind teams 3 and 4 on this. Bet they set up with 4 -2-1- 3... more trying to break them down as per previous weeks. Only thing to add: I hope MW and Sir D start trying some tactics that will help us get in behind the septics at Hogmanay. Hope they are already showing them the Barcelona, Monchen and Motherwell games as examples of how to do it. I noticed Motherwell in particular were sending long balls in to the box for Moult - worked a treat... RDFM
harlands plater 16,966
Hope we come through this injury free, we seem to get a lot of long term injuries on plastic pitches. Should be no place for them in the top division.

Captain Hilts 12,819
Another tough test. We have really improved in the last 2 games but our away form still needs a lot of work. Hill for Wilson would be the only change I'd make.
Billy1984 6,314
Long time since we won away(ict 1-0 I think) would love to put that right on Friday and keep momentum of last two games going. Tough match on a plastic pitch but think we will win 0-2. Waghorn for Miller and forrester for tav only changes I'd make with Wilson keeping his place after a fine game yesterday. jintybear
