Yes you're right.  Which is why stricter checking procedures need to be introduced to stop people making accounts purely just to cause trouble.

It's right. Banter is one thing but if you make bad comments it can reflect badly not only on yourself and the site you're using but also on the club and the support. Yahoos jump on such stories to try to demonise us. You never know who's watching!

The thread itself is fine, it's been on the go for years and the posts made in it are in generally good humour. The offensive posts about the wee boy are not fine, most of which have been deleted by admin.

“Only problem it seems by those on this thread is he wears the colours of his team.

“As a father of two kids with disabilities it’s pretty pathetic to rip into the wee lad simply because of who he supports and what he suffers with.”

The youngster, who is a Celtic FC Foundation Ambassador, celebrated with the players on the football pitch following the match.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm we have received a complaint regarding social media comments about Jay Beatty. Inquires are ongoing.”

9 times out of ten its close to the bone humour. Designed to be read by people on here. Not people popping in etc. It's a private part of the forum. 2 of the posts are close to the bone but FFS if that's Frankie Boyle or the like its hilarious.

Lewis Hamiltons brother, Madelaine McCann and jade goody get it absolutely stinking from him along with Harvey price. Everyone who sees him laugh. Then other bangers watch to be offended. They then try and report him etc. However they boys made they posts on a private section. You'd have to register and go looking to be offended. That's pathetic imo.

I can't believe a C1872 board member has done what he's done and all because a few people used to slag him on here and if I'm not mistaken 99% of them have been banned. He's an absolute stoater.
