I have one or two other clubs I'll watch on the TV if they are on but don't go out of my way at all anymore unless it's Rangers. Started watching other sports. Getting into NFL this past season or two. I like american football but Dan Carpenter, the placekicker for the Buffalo Bills, who I follow, makes $150,000 per game and all he does is kick field goals and punts a few times a game. I'm not sure how the NFL can appeal to you if money is ruining football for you

Gandalf the Blue 1,384
Similar story with Messi. Wants paid the same as Suarez and Neymar who are on £21m a year. Messi is on £19m. I mean, come on. You really spitting the dummy out over that?

If you found out someone in your work was earning more then you when you are more of an asset you wouldn't be happy. Regardless of the actual monetary wage if you deserve it you should get it. Cobham 1,569
The English have a cheek. China are now doing to them what the English have been doing to everyone else for years and they don't like it. And Yannick, Everton paid £30m for you so China are still playing catch up in the crazy league!

Gaz52 11,837
I can't bare to watch the overpaid cunts in the premier league fail to give 100% every week, care more about looking like a gangsta rapper off the pitch than they do about raising their game

I'm not sure how the NFL can appeal to you if money is ruining football for you I agree to an extent but it's not the same in terms of transfers etc. You couldn't have a new franchise just pop up and start offering all the top players 5 times their current salary to move to them. With NFL, regardless of who you play for (am sure even Browns players as well) the end game is the Super Bowl. Go Bills - seen them at Wembley in 2015! scottyscott1963 18,208
Not surprised with anything this fuckin animal would do. The other side of the coin is,who could refuse to move to 5 times your wage.

Messi, of course, has done more than any player to generate the money that allows the club to pay massive transfer fees for and wages to his team-mates. I expect football players become a lot less romantic about their club, even if they grew up supporting it, when they see how it is actually run and how its directors conduct themselves. My employer just gave us a £1.05 a hour rise and whilst I didn't do a full Ravanelli..I was happy to take it..Costa can play 2 Seasons and bank 50m to enjoy the rest of his life with..I am contemplating getting a car..Big difference..but I ain't going to criticise Costa for wanting the move..
