We all like him because he was a very good player for us and is a good pundit. Anyone like him because of his coaching abilities? You could argue that none of the candidates mentioned have done anything of any note as a coach. McCann gets credit because he talks well as a pundit, whether he's a good coach or not I have no idea. The man has a huge knowledge of Scottish football players and teams and that will be the remit for the vacant position.
