I think he realised the job was too big for him and it made sense to make a deal that if he went elsewhere we wouldn't sue him and likewise we wouldn't have to pay the rest of his contract . That suited both parties .

But you're right , if he is going to fuck us over now he has the job at Forest  he is a cunt . I just dont see why he'd do it , or , more importantly, how he could win it . I'd like to think the board have got everything in writing or we will be fucked .

For me he became a cunt as soon as he went behing the clubs back, to try and manoeuvre a switch to Forest and then lied like fuck about it.

Smell shite. I'm giving every player in the squad a chance to prove themselves till the summer. If Pedro wants to get rid of the lot of them then he has my backing. Do not expect any players we have to be sold for anywhere near seven figures. £300,000 to £400,000 max.

Whatever happens in the summer will happen in the summer. For the here and now lets see if Pedro can coach ALL our players to get 2nd place and win the Scottish Cup.

Tav and a few others have been poor for quite a while. If the money from Forest or any other Club comes our way then its Thank you and goodbye..

He's the best in the business

Never realised you were in Peterborough. I lived in South Bretton for years. Full of roundabouts and no hills but a nice enough little city and was expanding. Work for everyone back then in the late 90s. Remember listening to them singing Gazza all night after he dumped Scotland out of Euro 96 when he was with Rangers. Mixed fucking feelings I had that night but not for long right enough

Stay safe from the cyclists down there :guiness:

True, they might be bummer boys, remember MW didn't move his family up here, he just happened to be up in Scotland alone with Frank - the best in the business.

I don't think Davie weir lived up here either. I think when he played for us,he would travel up and down between the club and his family.

Can see him coming in for a few players. Paper talk about Tav plus his supposed lunch with mw, Waghorn stalled on a new deal at Christmas time and will only have 12 months left in the summer(coincidence) then Keirnan a month or two ago allegedly got stick in the stand at Ibrox and was considering his future according to the media. All ties in nicely for all three to go.

I don't think Warburton will be back for Waghorn. I'm not convinced that they got on that well. There were rumours they didn't when the contract stuff happened IIRC and Waghorn was one of the first ones to stick the knife in after Warburton left too by talking about how the team kept changing.

He signed him for his "value" so we say, £5m and he's yours. That is value. Dead ball specialist, physically athletic, quick, great engine, good experience with Ramsdens Cup and Scottish Championship winners medals. £5m and i will drop him off at the seasons end. Thanks.

Aye you're right but that doesn't fit my story so I'll chose to ignore it .

Think he'll try and get a player or two all the same.

I think he'll come for Kiernan, he'll try his luck with McKay and as a bit of a wild card I think he might go for Windass too.

Did someone not post that they were out having lunch together the day after the resignation story broke?

I think him.and McKay are 2 players he will come back for, possible try and use the legal action as a bargaining tool to get them cheaper if they drop the claim

They'll only be owed a month's wages now so I'd doubt the club would give a fuck about that.

When Hodson isn't behind him, the amount of goals we have conceded (all season) from his side is a disgrace. Take the money and move on.  One game doesn't make a star but the Dundee full back that scudded in to McKay all game a few weeks ago is a far better defender than Tav will ever be. Not advocating that's who we go for at all, just showing there's solid full backs out there that would cost a fraction of what Tav is on. I'd rather have our four defenders be solid and unflashy and have our "stars" further up the park.

Let's hope our scouting net is spread wider than the last four transfer windows where it really was anyone who'd had a previous relationship with MW.
