Rambo1872 4,065
Anybody heard this? If true would you be glad to get shot and what kind of money do you reckon we could get for him?
Guest Lloyd72
http://www.<No links to this website>/sport/football/football-news/rangers-striker-martyn-waghorn-linked-10068431 Rangers striker Martyn Waghorn has emerged as a summer transfer target for Nottingham Forest. The Englishman is top of former boss Mark Warburton's wanted list, according to reports down south. But the ex-Gers boss, who was only appointed as Forest boss a week ago, faces competition from Huddersfield and Leeds for the 27-year-old. Waghorn was one of Warburton's first signings for Rangers in the summer of 2015 and hit 28 goals as the Light Blues romped to the Championship title. Despite being in and out of the first XI this season Waghorn is still top scorer at Ibrox with 15 goals. And with just a year left on his contract he has emerged as a target for the three English Championship rivals, according to the Mail.
The Godfather 71,718
He can go. We will need a better striker come the summer than what we have and his fee can go towards it.
Tenerife Bear 1,748
Bog standard £5m for every Rangers first team player under 30. If they want him, they can pay for him. We ain't looking to sell and we don't need to sell.
thebluedoo 2,652
Using a Dumbelle calculator here, 8 .5 million pounds or they can do one
Thermopylae 15,286
He's been an ok buy but I think we can do better

We are, there's about 5 players under 30 in our squad I'd keep the rest can do one for less than a mill

RDFM 3,809
Thought he was excellent against Accies but let's be honest here, he's just not good enough.
Billy1984 6,314
Headline says Sunderland but story says Huddersfield. I call bull shit
Gandalf the Blue 1,384
His fee will probably be in the hundreds of thousands. I'd like to see how he does towards the end of the season, but if we get offered over £1m id say take it and give the manager the money. SeparateEntityMyArse 53,619
I'd build the team round him..

Ger77 742
So let's get this straight, Warburton wants a player who he didn't deem good enough to play every week against the likes of Hamilton. Another lazy piece of Scottish 'journalism'.
LeeWallaceRFC 3,920
Thankfully Waghorn has made his feelings clear regarding Warburton. Hopefully he's given the new contract he deserves, and quite clearly wants.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
The next couple of months will give the whole squad the opportunity to either secure a future with us or put them in the shop window to make a move elsewhere. Waghorn is one I'm undecided on mostly because like some others in the squad I don't think Warbuton's style gave him a platform to show his true worth, hopefully Pedro's style will make it clear who is worth keeping or not. Smile 26,600
With the first player sold you get a free Kiernan that's the rules.
Junior Soprano 22,428
I doubt he will be going anywhere near Notts Forest. Sunderland aren't that desperate even when relegated. I think he will be given a new contract.

Yeah he kissed the badge after his pen on saturday a bit cliche but i think it shows that he does want to be here
Real Ranger 3,193
Not many would have complained if Alan Hutton had left on a free before Walter Smith replaced PLG. I'd rather wait and see how Waghorn does in the next few months before making judgements on whether he should stay or go and at what price.
