Do people seriously think that 6mill will bridge the gap between them and us

It's hard to say..  if they lose Sinclair and Thierry Henry then they have to replace them and get lucky again.  Those 2 players must be worth 20 points a year to that lot.

our best bet is steer clear of England as it's completely lopsided in transfer fees and after analysing the rest of the season Pedro must have 1-2 players in mind that could improve us and make a massive difference.

Our squad is shite and we need around 6/8 players to come into the starting line up.

The figures floating about in here will see us playing catch up for the foreseeable.

King has said strong second and showing in Europe is the aim next season.

We need about £8m spend on 2 centre backs, 2 centre mids and a striker. If he can work contacts and get a £2m player on a free then all the better. We need a solid base to build from. Unfortunately we have a spine of Hill (38), Hyndman (not ours), Miller (37).  We need to come two younger Hill's and, a competitor in midfield (Rossiter?), a creative all rounder like Hyndman and a quality striker ( a young Miller).

Nemeth (Bosman) is a possible former player

Think it depends on early season ticket sales and renewals. Realistically only Hill & Miller are at the end of their deals. So unless buyers come looking at the remaining squad.  I really think Pedro will work with largely the same squad with perhaps 3 or 4 additions. For me a 3 million net spend maximum is more likely. Or maybe look at the loan market,  I would love to see Hyndman on a season long loan.

Anything less than £10m net spend and we can forget about going for 55 next season. That should always be the aim for us. 2nd place isn't good enough.

Boyce, Walker and Nicholson would be a good start. A few of Pedros/DoF finds for the back line and centre mid and I'll be happy with that.
