Fucking hell!

Cunts moan about them not setting up a meeting. They set up a meeting and then cunts moan about it. No wonder folk say this place is riddled with tarriers. ?

"couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery" springs to mind.

they've pretty much fucked it up which says it all for them or they have done this intentionally to suit their agenda, so much for representing the fans. It has become, as many on here predicted, yet another unorganised spivvy group like the RST was.

Anybody that backs the idiots that remain on that board needs their heads examined.

Hopefully the 3 board members, who resigned, are in attendance to listen to what shite they come out with and defend themselves if need be.

If not, then accurate details minutes of the meeting should be taken and made available to members.

Well they could organise it in a venue that was big enough to hold the membership they have. Alternatively they could have contacted all the members and asked if they intended attending the meeting and then booked an appropriate room. Instead they book a room and say entry is on first come first served and access will be denied when capacity is reached. That is certainly unprofessional and you could say tarrieresque.

"The Party Line" members will be told the meeting starts at 7.00pm.  Everyone else will be told 7.30.

I'm not a member so the meeting doesn't directly affect me.   I wonder though how many members they are expecting.    The meeting is on 6 April but members are asked to notify if they plan to attend by 4:30pm on 4 April.   More members might say they will attend and notify accordingly but on the day might not be able to attend for a variety of reasons.  Which leaves the question.......if more members turn up than the capacity of the room members would presumably be turned away if the room was already at full capacity.   Which would be a bit unfortunate to say the least, especially if they had travelled to Glasgow specially for the meeting.    The notification for the meeting doesn't say it but presumably its members admitted on a first come / first served basis until the room is full.   The notification also doesn't make it clear whether a member would only be admitted if they have pre-notified that they plan to attend so names are checked against a list and then admitted and if name is not on list then only admitted if capacity of the room permits?

On the one hand the arrangement could lead to quite a bit of chaos if more members turn up than the room can hold, or if members turn up but have not pre-notified 1872 that they plan to do so.    On the other hand maybe the confidence of the current directors is such that they don't expect to fill the room in which case any issues about more attending than can be accommodated or members attending and expecting to be admitted without pre-notifying 1872 are redundant.

Wonder if King's offer to buy shares will be discussed.   Presumably 1872 will have to canvass members for their views on whether to sell .....or perhaps that sort of decision is already delegated to the current directors to take.

Indeed. Stinks of gerrymandering.
