Creampuff 22,628
I don't think there's anything wrong with what Ferguson has written here. I also don't think he's suited for the position.
harlands plater 16,975
Really enjoyed watching Clyde in the Champions League the other night, Barry.
WeirFleckNRothen 1,789
"Pedro seen through him". Who needs enemies when we've got fans like you?
The Specky Forum Organiser 64,530
It's a good headline but if you read the article there isn't really anything wrong with what he said.
jackrfc95 4,255
Barry Ferguson admits he wants to be Rangers manager. In other news Elvis is dead.
Alec87 331
Admire his honesty there. If he proves himself good enough, there's no reason he can't be Manager one day.
eskbankloyal 19,446
The first thing be did when he didn't get the job was stab Pedro in the back by running to Jackson who then wrote an article trying to discredit him.
Hamie 4,842
He almost, and may still prove to he the case, relegated clyde out the football league with one of the highest budgets. I'm also pretty sure he would have an advantage over almost every team in the league due to his contacts in the game. He would be a terrible coach never mind manager.

Imagine the player that led the revolt against double training sessions under PLG having to take a squad for eh double training sessions. Also shows his arrogance and lack of intelligence to say that, you may think it but you keep it to yourself
To Be A Ranger 4,032
He would get the chance to manage Rangers if he ever proves himself to be capable of it. So far he hasn't.
Misteral 2,932
Well if you say that you want Pedro's job one day that could imply that you either hope or think he will fail and be sacked. Anyway, it would have been a big mistake to give him that job. The media would have had a field day.

Jack The Flipper 5,936
It was clear he would have made a poor appointment, I did say taking him on would be Pedros biggest mistake. Those who wanted Barry in the role, I think it proves your lack of intelligence or understanding of the situation. As I said a long time ago, thank god you are not charged with making important decisions at our club. Even Pedro, been here for such a short period, didn't go with this guy. If this is what he said in the interview it does not show ambition, only stupidity. Very good player for us, but shit coach and not the brightest or most professional person you'll ever come across. harlands plater 16,975
Even if he did look like a potentially good manager, which he hasn't so far, the fact he puts his name to a column in that Rangers-hating gutter rag is enough to,put me off him. Guest
Fuuuuuuck off! He's a wee bampot and never deserving of the honour of managing our club. High and mighty wee ned
Sparkle 53,575
He was a great player for us, but he doesn't have the class, dignity and gravitas to be our manager. Smith and McLeish both exemplied these and that's who he should model himself on if he wants to get on in management.
