the_r_sole 366
even that team conceded shite goals from corners, some things never change - shame we're nothing like them anywhere else on the pitch at the moment
siddiqi_drinker 14,635
Great team, Gazza was only with us for a relatively short time but that one game ensured he would be a Rangers legend. Sad we've gone from Gazza and Laudrup toHalliday and Holt. 21 years FFS!!!
onefootwillie 1,518
It passes so quickly. I wonder if we will ever see that quality playing for us again

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,601
Seems a lifetime ago. I pray to God we see these scenes and this class of player in our jersey again. Or at least my kids do.

Young Bob 1,360
Went with my Da and he got scunnered with me as I kept saying I was going to throw up all the way in and until kick off. No drink involved just nerves. He was fully of confidence all the time. Can picture him sitting in the stand even down to what he was wearing. Great memories all round. Dazzler 2,428
Remember it like it was yesterday. That's frightening that it's 21 years ago.

DW1872 1,204
An absolute magician of a player. I feel so fortunate to have seen him. So sad how he seems hell bent on fucking up his life.

To Be A Ranger 4,032
I remember being quite pissed at that game. What a day. But 21 years ago? My missus would've been 3 months pregnant and that developing foetus is now over 6 feet tall, will be seated next to me tomorrow, and will probably drink me under the table again. roboscot 1,176
I was working with a mate of former player and then coach John McGregor during Gazza's time. The stories that I used to hear about his antics were hilarious. He used to let himself into Ally's house in the middle of the night and wake him up to go fishing
1690tamRFC 5,001
I still believe 100% that if we hadn't sold him when we did we would have got to 10 IAR
