Klos was never world class.

Not even an international.

Germany had keepers like Köpke, Kahn and Lehmann, and Klos wasn't the only player to not get a look in the German squad after moving abroad. Klos was a top class keeper.

I would take klos , we need a top class keeper ,

Gio as he could play anywhere outfield and was world class , he would be a quality skipper for us .

And up front Rod Wallace , he might not have been a big name , but he was a hard worker and a great goalscorer for us , that 3, would add a bit of spine to our team

Goalkeeper is the one position we can afford not to improve just now

What class was he? Instead of just criticising, how about telling us how good you thought he was?

He only wasn't international because he was German. Top class goalie, second to Goram since 1986 (probably). At very least 3rd behind Woods.

In one, sir.

Ooft. Need to go to the casino on that form.

Anyway, I'd imagine WW's point is something about Klos not even being the best at Rangers recently, never mind the country.

Although I'm pished, so maybe not.

Could be that, but since I can remember, the closest to Klos is Mcgregor and that's not even a contest.

I didn't actually criticise him. He was a good goalkeeper. But to be world class surely you have to genuinely be one of the best in the world? I don't think he was.

Goram and Watterreus both better than him in my opinion. He lacked physical presence and not as dominant as a truly "world class" goalkeeper should be.

Hmmm. I'd hate to see when you were then. Yeah, OK, he wasn't world class. Tell us what he was though, rather than telling us what he wasn't. Let's be positive here.

Waterreus was not better than Klos. i'll give you that starter for 10, ya wee scamp.
