Ally: Someone Will Replace Hill

Recommended Posts

Ally states we must have someone lined up to take Clint Hills place in our defence for next season. Perhaps he is in the know and dropping a hint?

McCoist stated that Hill was “terrific” against Hearts and even claimed he was the Man of the Match “by some difference”.

The former St. Johnstone and Sunderland star also believes that the fact Pedro Caixinha is allowing him to leave is a hint that the club have a signing lined up already.

“You have to look at the bigger picture, and the bigger picture must be surely they have got a centre-half lined up,” he told the Glasgow Evening Times.

“You are not going to tell him you don’t want him next season if you have not got preparations in place for another centre-half to come.

“The indication that they are releasing him would tell me, hopefully, that they have got somebody in place that will come.”

Alves would be amazing as we all agree but it would be counter productive having one good defender like him and having one shite one next to him like Kiernan, Wilson or Bates when we could have had Hill there with Alves.

for us to be considerably better off defensively we need Alves and another decent defender on a par with Hill.

Thats two big ifs.

Well that is some revelation from Ally, we are going to replace Clint with another player.

Now you know why there was this big payout clause in his contract had he not been made manager.

The bigger picture Ally could well be the need to free up some wages for other positions in the pitch. Of course someone like you that just signs things put in front of him without reading would have no idea.
