Problem is, he's not good or clever enough to be a creative player, defensively he's shite, and we have players like McKay who would be better suited to the position. Windass lacks good influences around him in midfield. He has talent, but it is clearly evident that he doesn't have a great deal of know how when he gets into good positions. Not when he set up the goal it wasnt. He is clueless in this side, but if a Dorrans type, or Stevie Davis played alongside him then he would be twice the player. My point is that we need better players of the type we used to have if we are going to see the full potential of players like McKay and Windass, and even Barjonas. We need players of real quality in this team. BTW, I don't think Davis was poor when he first came; I'm sure he made his debut at Tynecastle and it was very evident he was a bit special right away.
