If your good enough your old enough , bates is hardly a youth (think he's 22 not sure)

beerman is about 5 months younger than that scumbag tierney, who's light years ahead of him

Davie weir was 23 when he stared playing Seniors - all are different and some adjust quicker than others but make no mistake their is an adjustment to be made and in generalisation terms that adjustment is not 1-2 games but 1-2 seasons

Didn't put a foot wrong?

So the ball into the back post that Beerman then misheadered right up in the air into Rooneys forehead wasn't doing something wrong?

Sounds harsh but he made a fuck up, simple as. Not the first one either.

That was with his head, not his foot ;)

Would rather see Beerman played further forward as his defending isn't great.

Bates does more right than wrong, but folk seem hell bent on fixating on his mistakes in a game.

I reckon Barjonas looks like a very promising footballer.

He has gone from looking like he was just glad to be picked last week to coming on yesterday and showing up folk who have played there all season.

There was one point where he brought it down from out the air and played a decent pass, my immediate thought was that Halliday or holt would have made an arse of the same situation.

All three deserve to start next game for me.

We all know ow who should tell be near Perth.

Got to admire the irony, Pedro says he wants men and its the young boys who stood up tonight. Toral should perhaps disappear quietly back to London tomorrow, really disappointed with his input since he came into the squad at no time has ne looked up for it.

"Men" doesn't mean older guy.

Good post, agree with all of that.

He's got something - but never a fulll back

Probably taking his lead from the guy on the other flank.

If Tav had moved 10 yards further inside, he'd have been playing inside left!

I think he is better suited in midfield

I agree - but not when he's supposed to be somewhere else!

They caught him out of position so many times last night.
