jbm26896 995
Every time he starts a game he goes missing, but the frustrating thing for me is, he does have ability. He has a good first touch, can go past a man, and can finish. However, he seems to lack desire, aggression and the will to succeed, also seems to react to what goes on around him rather than anticipate that someone will win a header or look to pass inside the full back. He is becoming a very frustrating player to watch, last night was a prime example. seems to be only good as a sub and cannot start any more games for us. Inigo 32,526
He's a powderpuff player most of the time IMO. Don't see him ever being good enough.
Forever in blue jeans 12
Can't take to him at all. Last couple of games his movement and runs have been terrible. Can see other players wanting him to spin in behind or or run through the middle and he just looks and stands on touchline with a man on him rendering himself useless and ball had to go back the way again. Think he's looked like a player who's not interested at all.
rfc_watp 1,503
Doesn't anticipate the flick ons or 2nd balls, positional sense is non existent - seen Pedro consistently have a go at him last night telling him where to go, where to close down etc. Does well as an impact sub but he never convinces when on from the start, frustrating to say the least. SeparateEntityMyArse 53,715
Ball at feet, running at a defender he's fine. Understanding positioning off the ball, where and when to make runs, he's horrific. He's young yeah, but anyone with any footballing sense should be able to anticipate Garner knocking the ball on. He can't. Frustrating as hell.

Turnberry18 3,204
He plays in the part of the park where we need to improve drastically. I was in favour of giving him a chance, and as someone has already said he is good with the ball at his feet, but he isn't what we need. He should be moved on. ElBufalo20 7,889
He's younger than McKay and played a handful of games where McKay has played 2 full seasons. mckay gets away with murder on here cos he's young and inconsistent so Dodoo should be allowed the same by everyone who rates McKay on here. EastEnclosureBear 2,919
Frustrating player. He has some ability but it seems getting him to use it, is a different story. File under useless cunt.
pcbear 10,913
He aint very good, his first half performance along with Toral and Windass's bordered on farcical and had me pining for Waghorn and that is just wrong.

Laudrup1984 25,100
I think he's decent. Technically some of his shooting and finishing has been of a good standard. However to me he's a striker continually being played out of position to accommodate others. I would be interested to see him through the middle for a few games to assess him a little more fairly. Probably won't happen though.

JamesRFC__ 172
Remember him with his back to the ball running away from it last night? Summed his night up.

five stars 1,621
He definitely got ability. The whole team looked lost last night. The front 3 played as individuals, not as a team. I presume it was tactics, but it didn't work. It did get bettter when Waghorn came on, as he and Garner played closer together.

steven33jackie 1,920
Lacks desire, aggression and a will to succeed; that sentence sums up a large percentage of Warburton's signings perhaps with the exception of Garner.

NeoGeo7 10,498
As with most of the team he feels he's made it just by getting here rather than working hard to improve, working hard for his teammates, working hard for his manager and working hard for the fans. Said it before and will say it again if you get a solid professional core to the squad that lead by example then guys like dodoo and McKay will follow suit in time but they've been surrounded by guys like MOH, Windass, toral, Forrester etc. i felt Barton signing was the making of the heart of the team but he didn't fit with Warburtons ethos but it's that kind of graft that we need where players take pride in their efforts, performance and ultimately the results. Get a player like that in each third of the park and maybe we can get something more these guys because there is something there.
