I see Dundee Hibs have appealed Murray's second yellow, meaning he'll be free to play in the 2nd leg. I didn't even know you could do that! Is it only certain yellows you can appeal or what?

Looked to me like the ginger made a meal of it. Maybe there was contact but the way he threw himself to the deck was embarrassing.

You can appeal yellows for simulation.

Can you appeal for any other offence?

No mate, never actually knew you could appeal the simulation one until reading that to be honest. It's a rule that needs amended though as there are more wrongly awarded yellows than straight reds

Exactly what I was thinking, that's why I asked. Seems very odd that this is the only cautionable offence that can be appealed.

Just googled it and not sure if it's just an SFA directive or UEFA rules etc but first one that comes up is Hearts successfully appealed a second yellow for t.watt for simulation in 2016. Honestly would have lost money on that one.
